OBMB Pedestrian Bridge

A pedestrian bridge concept that connects Ocean Beach and Mission Beach creating continuity between the boardwalks. Incorporated into this pedestrian bridge is a new trolley stop which connects the bridge to the Old Town Trolley stop, providing greater San Diego with better access to the beach.

The pier structure as well as the trolley line would be built on the existing jetty that separates the San Diego River outlet and the Mission Bay Channel. The bridge would be elevated to allow the passage of boats.
